The Jeff Martin Agency
The Jeff Martin Agency started in 1992. Jeff is a Garland TX native and taught school in Garland ISD for 10 years from 1983-1992. He is a graduate of South Garland HS, University of North Texas for his undergraduate degree and has his Masters Degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M University Commerce (formerly East Texas State University). Jeff's wife, Teresa Martin, joined the Agency a couple of years later after her teaching career and is a licensed agent in the office as well. Teresa is a native Arkansan and attended Ouachita Baptist University. Teresa was a choral music teacher in Arkansas and Texas, where she and Jeff met while teaching. Jeff began his insurance career with Farmers Insurance Group and then decided to Go Independent in late 1999. The Jeff Martin Agency represents several companies, Travelers, Hartford, Safeco, Kemper, HOAIC, Fidelity and Progressive to name a few. The Jeff Martin Agency is a full service agency, offering Auto, Home, Life, Health, Business, Disability, Medicare Supplements and recreational policies. Producers in the office are Thomas Hoyt and Kent Calhoun, and receptionist, Sarabeth Spann. The agency prides themselves in their personal service.
